St Davids has been selected as the nominated charity to receive the proceeds from the raffle held in the Corporate Hospitality suites. Female staff from Chelsea, resplendent in specially designed St Davids sashes, will be selling tickets and handing out brochures which will give attendees an insight in to the work of the charity. Let’s hope Mr Abramovich is in a generous mood!!

The second ball was held in one of the most historic and beautiful buildings in London.  At the Royal Hospital Chelsea, 200 guests enjoyed a champagne reception in the State rooms where The Queen had attended dinner the previous night.  The guests the enjoyed “Classics and Film” conducted by Andy Brown and performed by the London Metropolitan Orchestra.  Rachel Roberts also performed the stunning “In Pace” from the soundtrack of Hamlet composed by Patrick Doyle.
Guests were then piped into the Great Hall where an entire Banquet was generously catered by the renowned worldwide hospitality company Do & Co. That night raised £65,000 and this money is now in a fund which will be used to build a house designed for the older residents who have specialised needs as well as providing a level of respite care which is currently not available for the elderly in Pembrokeshire.
