It provides an independent lifestyle for five people with one support staff (minimum NVQ 2 qualified) providing sleeping-in cover. Due to the independent nature of Ambyth residents the home is staffed only during evenings and weekends.
The property consists of an en-suite flat with walk-in shower, conservatory leading to a large lounge, kitchen and downstairs shower with toilet. Upstairs has four bedrooms plus bath with walk-in shower. All single rooms exceed NMS size requirements and meet full fire safety compliance. Residents in Ambyth do most of their own cooking and cleaning with staff support.
